About Me
Hello! I am Deepti Rajpoot. I have done my Master’s in Chemistry from Dr. Hari Singh Gour Central University Sagar, Madhya Pradesh. I have joined IISER Bhopal and ab initio theory group (AITG) in 2017 as CSIR-JRF fellow.
Research Interest
I am interested in exploring the structural, electronic and magnetic properties of
transition metal double perovskite (DP), in the bulk as well as thin film form,
due to their fascinating properties like magnetism, ferroelectricity, multiferroicity,
half-metallicity, metal-to-insulator transitions etc.
We are currently working on magnetic properties of layered 3d-3d double perovskites where we are
investigating the interaction of spin degree of freedom with other possible degree of freedoms
(charge, orbital and lattice) in the system. We are also working towards designing new multiferroic
double perovskites by encoding ferroelectricity in a magnetic double perovskite.
