About Me
I am a Junior Research Fellow in a project titled 'First principles simulation of pressure induced phenomenon in organic and hybrid crystals'. I completed Integrated M.Sc. in Physics from the Central University of Tamil Nadu on 2019 May and joined AITG group after that.
Research Interest
I am interested in studying the hydrogen bonded polymeric materials as many of these materials have important industrial applications. My work involves study of polymerization of acrylamide crystals under pressure at room temperature using ab initio Molecular Dynamics simulations. We have explored the role of application rate of pressure as static (slow rate) and dynamic (fast rate) compression leads to different topochemical polymers.
